Our Wedding

It was during a family wedding in Morocco in the summer of 2022 that Hala and Cyril first crossed paths. What began as a simple introduction quickly revealed an undeniable connection, though circumstances at the time required that the two part ways.Yet fate, it seems, had other plans. A year later, they reconnected, and what had once been a quiet spark soon grew into something impossible to ignore. Their courtship unfolded across continents, between Morocco and the United States, as they discovered a shared vision for life, family, and the future they hoped to build together.On January 13, 2024, in New York, Cyril surprised Hala with a romantic proposal—rose petals and a guitarist playing their favorite song setting the scene. She said yes.Soon after, in an intimate civil ceremony in Seychelles, witnessed by their mothers and a few close family members, they officially began their new chapter.Now, they look forward to celebrating their marriage with all of you in Rabat, Morocco.

<a href="https://www.aeroportcasablanca.ma/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport</a> is the main international gateway to Morocco, with direct flights from cities such as New York and Washington, D.C., as well as connections from Johannesburg and other global hubs.Located approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Rabat by car or train, it is often the most convenient option for long-haul travelers. Private transfers can be arranged, or guests may take the train from the airport to Rabat-Agdal train station.

Ride-Hailing Apps

For everyday transportation, we recommend downloading <a href="https://www.careem.com/fr/ride/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Careem</a>, the local equivalent of Uber. It is widely used in Rabat and is a convenient option for short trips around the city.

Local Tips

Taxis are widely available in Rabat. “Petit taxis” operate within the city for short distances and are typically metered. In Rabat, petit taxis are blue and can be easily identified by the official taxi decal displayed on the door, making them distinct from private vehicles.We recommend ensuring the meter is in use or confirming the fare in advance. Cash is often preferred for taxi payments.
